I was taking the T after work today and one of those guys with only one leg was sitting in a wheelchair with a guitar and a microphone singing 'Daniel My Brother' which he followed with this song:





And the second he started singing it some other guy came up and started singing with him really excited and he looked a little homeless but I'm not sure if he was really homeless or not but the other one-legged guy was looking at him like he was so into it and the two legged guy just kind of started jigging around the guy in the wheelchair singing and they sounded really great in that way you can only sound like when you're really genuinely excited about what you're doing.


Hopefully this enthusiasm is not exclusive to the homeless or semi-homeless disposition or condition, but sometimes I have the sneaking feeling that it is.
