Hiccups

To stop the hiccups drink three swallows of water
while holding your breath, and at the same time
say under your breath:

Three sups up
Will cure the hiccups up.

or

Put a small cube of ice on the lobe of your right ear.

or

Pull a hair out of your ear.
Put a penny between your toes.
Think of seven baldheaded men.
